~ Trails may be accessed from highway 550. Parking is at the state Overlook at the top of Molas Pass and at the Molas Lake parking lot located one mile north of the Pass. Both lots are on the west side of the highway. There are Forest Service map displays at each lot. These trails are for all ability levels with the west side ascent becoming a moderate rated ride as it climbs. Please note that there are no snowmobilers allowed in and around Andrews Lake for an area of 200 acres. As part of the Forest Service ruling the club cannot mark or groom trails from the top of Molas south to Lime Creek on the east side. The club uses Skandics to pack a trail and access the play areas and connect with a snow bridge at the Lime Creek end to cross the highway. The trail is not marked but it is clear where to ride. The trails around Molas Lake are all groomed and marked with the CDOT approved highway crossing is just south of Molas Pass and is marked and groomed.
