~ This trail may be access from town. Parking is at the Visitors Center and the trail may be picked up by Red Mountain Motel. The trail requires a good snow year to access from town. Otherwise, access is north of town on Highway 550 approx. 1.5 miles on the left. Parking is on the roadside and therefore is limited. This trail is not groomed unless it can be groomed from town. Silverton APPROX. 3 MILES IN THIS SYSTEM

 

~ The town trails may be accessed from the Visitors Center parking lot or from the Railroad Depot at the end of 10th Street. Riding on Silverton streets is allowed if you have a flag, are over 14 years old, and obey the speed limits and traffic laws. You may cross Greene Street (paved main street) but there is no riding along Greene Street. This trail is for all riding levels and it is groomed and marked.
